How to apply for a Malaysia visa from Pakistan
- Apply on the official MyVISA portal, malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my, for a tourist eVISA.
- Fill in the form, upload your documents and pay online.
- Your approved visa arrives by email. Print it for the airline and immigration.
- Complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within 3 days before you arrive.
Some cases (for example business, study or longer stays) use other visa types or the Malaysian High Commission in Islamabad. Ask us which route fits your trip.
The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)
Since 1 January 2024, most foreign visitors must submit the MDAC online within 3 days before arriving in Malaysia. It is separate from your visa and is done through the Immigration Department of Malaysia. Don't forget it: it takes a few minutes and saves trouble at the airport.
